My clean, contemporary romance novel, Inspired to Love, is currently not available on Amazon or other websites right now as I have decided to go a different route rather than staying with my publisher. For now, it is in house for some major editing, then I will be re-releasing it on my own when I feel it is ready. The original version won the Christlit Book Award for 2025.
It is a sweet, kisses only romance with no swear words. This beautiful painting on the cover is based on an important scene between my main characters. You’ll just have to read it when it comes out to find out why!
Fun fact…this painting was done by my identical twin sister! You can find her artwork on Instagram at @pattiespaintingsandediting.
Back Cover Blurb:
Shanna’s nursing career was her pride and joy and she honestly thought she was happy with her life, but when her longtime boyfriend suddenly “met someone else”, it forced her to reevaluate what she wanted. She realized she’d been stuck in a relationship with someone who was never supportive of her dreams of being an author, which caused her to quell her aspirations and lose herself in the process. Tired of feeling brokenhearted and sorry for herself, she decided to take six months off to focus on her dream and finish the novel she had, up until now, put on the back burner due to her ex’s lack of support. Through a series of events that followed she found herself in the small mountain town of Maple Falls, New Hampshire. Would this charming town be the one she would use as the setting of her book? Even more, could this be the place that would inspire her to open her heart again to love? Could a kind and chivalrous, ruggedly-handsome mountain man be the key to her future? Would an unexpected harrowing ordeal draw them closer or send her running back home?

My book of poetry, The Heart of Poetry, is out on Amazon, Amazon Kindle, and free on Kindle Unlimited. It is a collection of thirty years’ worth of poetry and little anecdotes about my life that inspired each poem. A portion of every sale from this book will go to Mission MSA in honor of my father who was diagnosed in 2024 with MSA. Mission MSA is a wonderful organization that gives education and hope to families affected by this rare and incurable condition. Thank you for your support.

I have recently released this 60-Day Devotional and Prayer Journal for Moms on Amazon. It has 12 weeks worth of study guide questions in the back for those looking for a deeper study or to study with a group. My challenge to all moms is to take 60 days to go through this devotional and spend time with the One who created them and knows their challenges more than anyone else. My hope and prayer is that it encourages, inspires, motivates, and challenges them as they grow closer to God. It has recently won the Christlit Book Award for 2025.

Back Cover Blurb:
When she was 17 years old, Ava Peters fell in love with Anderson Bailey, the broken, angry boy next door, and did everything she could to break through his walls and show him that someone cared. Surprisingly, she convinced him to go with her to prom. Unfortunately, after another brief glimpse behind his mask and an incredible, unexpected, first kiss in the moonlight, he disappeared without a trace, shattering her heart.
Ten years later their paths cross again, and they are forced through circumstances to spend time alone together. As they begin to get closer again, he gives her a glimpse of his broken past and the reason he never felt worthy of her. Will she break through his defenses a second time and point him to the One who can take his burdens and make him whole again? Will she convince him to stick around and give them a chance? Or will he end up running again out of fear that he still isn’t good enough?
For his entire life, Anderson Bailey had run away from anything resembling a connection. He had a rough, traumatic past as a foster kid and was terrified of caring about something just to have it taken from him. To protect himself, he put on a mask of indifference and anger so everyone would stay away. But, it didn’t deter the girl next door from worming her way into his heart with her sunny personality and constant attempts at getting him to open up. So, when an unexpected moment between them ended in a world-altering kiss, he ran again. He regretted it every day until she literally ran into him a decade later. Will he be able to resist her sunny personality so he wouldn’t fall for her again? Will he be able to keep on his mask so he could protect both of their hearts? Or will she finally be able to convince him to open his heart and see that he is worthy of the love he never had?

My newest book just released in May of 2026. It is a fairytale retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It is called Belle & The Beast. I’ve always wanted to do a fairytale retelling and Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite princess movie, hence why I named my daughter Belle. Anyway, it’s finally out and I’m so proud of it. Fun fact, my twin sister also painted this cover!! Belle & The Beast is a grumpy v. sunshine Christian contemporary romance safe for teens with no swearing, kissing only, with a splash of suspense. 🙂
Back cover blurb:
Dr. Arabelle “Belle” Colter loves taking care of horses more than any other animal in the mixed practice vet clinic she owns with her father. So when she finds out there is a seriously injured horse at an estate a fair distance away from their clinic, she jumps at the chance to go.
The catch? The owner is requiring her to sign a contract to stay on the estate property for two weeks so she can focus solely on taking care of the injured horse.
The problem? The owner is a cold and ruthless businessman known to everyone as The Beast.
The compensation? Something she can’t refuse.
What she didn’t expect was to be rudely insulted during her first meeting with the incredibly handsome owner who seems to live up to the beastly nickname.
After a misunderstanding leads to a harrowing ordeal for both of them, she begins to see him in a different light. Little by little, they open up to each other and discover that first impressions aren’t always what they seem, and if people are given the chance, they can surprise you in the best way possible.
Can a retelling of a tale as old as time prove that dreams really can come true? And that if you learn to look past misconceptions, true love can find you?
